Payments


Payment start date

Once you have placed your order, payments via Direct Debit and BPAY will start on the date you selected. Payments by Credit Card will be debited on the 15th of every month.

Payments on Public Holidays

Your Direct Debit payment will come out the next working day. Please note that Chrisco is located in Auckland, therefore we observe Auckland Anniversary (We still collect payments on Auckland Anniversary). If you wish to skip a payment on a public holiday, or on the day after, you will need to let us know before midday on the working day prior.

Missed payments

If you miss a payment we will automatically recalculate and slightly increase your future payments so that your order is fully paid by the Final Payment Date. If several payments are missed, we will reduce your order to make the remaining payments easier. We are not responsible for your bank charges if payments fail. We reserve the right to charge an administration fee of $3.50 if a payment fails.
If you are unable to keep paying, we will reduce your order to the amount you have already paid, and you will still receive products and/or vouchers for Christmas. We are happy to discuss your order at any time. Simply

Direct Debit Authority

If pay are paying by Direct Debit, you will need to complete a Direct Debit Authority to allow a payment to be automatically deducted from your bank account. By filling out the Direct Debit Request form, you are authorising Chrisco to debit your payments from your chosen account. At midnight on the day you have chosen (usually your pay day), our bank debits your account electronically. It’s easy. Just fill in the form and then... relax.

Stopping a Direct Debit payment

If you call us on 0800 831 300 by midday the working day before your payment is due we can stop a payment (i.e.: before Friday midday for a Monday payment).

HeadStart Plan

Your payments will continue until your order is fully paid for (no later than the Final Payment Date (See below). After the Final Payment Date, a HeadStart Plan will be created for you and Direct Debit payments will continue accordingly. A HeadStart Plan allows you to make payments towards next year’s order, while giving you time to decide exactly which products you want. We will write to you to confirm your HeadStart Plan payments prior to continuing your Direct Debits. Your HeadStart Plan is fully refundable should you wish to stop it.

Free Gifts

Orders must be fully paid to qualify for free gift. The free gift will be delivered in November/December to the purchasing members address.

Cancellation policy

Your order requires you to make small regular payments. If you are having any difficulty making your payments please contact our friendly Customer Service Representatives on 0800 555 333 as soon as possible to discuss your options.

We may be able to reduce your order so that you still receive some of your items. If your order is cancelled, cancellation charges will apply which enable us to recover our costs.

You may cancel your order within 21 days of receiving the order confirmation. Within this 21 day period there will be no cancellation fee.

After the 21 day cooling off period a cancellation fee will be deducted from your refund as follows.

On all orders other than orders from the Home and Gift 2010 Catalogue:

-  Up to 90 days prior to the final payment due date: 20% of the payments made to date.

-  Within 90 days prior to the final payment due date: 50% of the payments made to date

-  Your order cannot be cancelled once it is fully paid.

On all orders from the Home and Gift 2010 Catalogue:

- Up to the final payment due date, a cancellation fee of up to 20% of the payments made to date;

- Your order cannot be cancelled once it is fully paid.

Pricing & GST

Chrisco may make product substitutions of products. This may occur if a product change is made by a supplier. The product substitution will be of a comparable value.

 

All prices include GST. All weekly payments are rounded up to the nearest cent. All prices are inclusive of tax and/or duty where applicable. Should there be any alteration in rates of tax, GST or duty, or any unforseen price increases, Chrisco reserves the right to substitute or adjust hampers and/or items accordingly to cover increases


Packing

All hampers are carefully packed into specially designed cartons and quality checked. Our frozen hampers are packed in insulated cartons.

Delivery


Delivery - General

All deliveries are made from November to mid December with the exception of the Back To School Hamper, which is delivered in late January. We’ll send you a delivery advice card closer to the time to advise on your delivery details. If you order multiple items, you may receive your items over multiple delivery dates. While every effort is made to deliver as advised, Chrisco cannot accept any liability for delay due to the customer’s failure to complete customer obligations or any other reason beyond the control of Chrisco (and/or its staff). Chrisco cannot accept any liability resulting from a contracted party’s failure to deliver as advised.

Delivery - Frozen goods

Due to the nature of frozen goods, customers must be home to accept delivery on the day advised, or make arrangements with friends or neighbours to accept it for you. We recommend you put frozen products into your freezer as soon as you receive them.

Delivery - Alcohol

In accordance with liquor licensing legislation, customers who purchase hampers containing alcohol must be over the age of 18 year. Proof of identity and age will be required at time of order and delivery.

Delivery – Packing & Administration / Delivery Fee

Family Christmas Gifts & Home and Gift Catalogue - Each order will incur a Packing and administration charge of $9.95, regardless of how many items you order.

Delivery - Heavy and oversized items

Heavy and oversized items in the Home and Gift Catalogue will also incur a $80 delivery surcharge per item in some remote areas (refer to the post code table below). These products are clearly marked in the printed and online catalogues using the symbols below.

Delivery - Rural

Should you live in, or move to a remote rural area, we may ask you to collect your order from a local pick-up point and some very remote areas may not be within our courier delivery range.

Delivery - Change of address

Should your delivery address change, please inform Chrisco immediately. If a delivery address is changed after the Final Payment Date, Chrisco reserves the right to charge an administration fee.

Delivery - Gift Card/Voucher

Gift Cards and Vouchers must be signed for on delivery. They will arrive by late November in plenty of time for your Christmas shopping.

Delivery - Bonus Items

Orders must be fully paid to qualify for bonus items. Eligible bonus items will be added to, and delivered with your qualifying order.

Delivery - FREE GIFTS

The free gift will be delivered in November/December to the purchasing members address.

Returns

We will gladly replace items or reimburse you should a product be damaged in transit and in accordance with our legal responsibilities as a merchant (we’ll make sure you are happy with your order in time for Christmas). We are unable to accept returns for other reasons such as if you have changed your mind or have made an incorrect choice about the product and no longer wish to keep it.

Product replacement

We only use brands you know and trust. This ensures they’re all top quality. And, we only deal with suppliers who have an established track record of the very highest quality. While we make every effort to supply you with your products, stock and suppliers may change. Chrisco reserves the right, to make substitutions of any products. When this is necessary, we’ll ensure that they’re of equal or greater retail value.

Terms of use – Gift Card/Voucher

Gift Cards and Vouchers are not redeemable for cash and cannot be used to pay off in-store accounts or finance agreements. No change will be given. Once issued, if lost, stolen or destroyed they can not be replaced or refunded.

Assembly


Assembly - Bicycles

In the interest of safety, it is recommended that you have all bicycles assembled by a suitably qualified professional. Bicycles supplied may differ in colour and/or graphics to those advertised.

Fees

A packing and administration fee of $9.95 is applicable per order from the Family Christmas Gifts & Home and Gift 2010 Catalogues.

Credit Balance

We reserve the right to deduct a $25 administration fee per annum from any credit balance on an inactive account.

Other


Contract

There will be no contract between Chrisco and a customer until Chrisco issues a notice confirming the customer’s order. .

Chrisco Distribution Ltd is the licensed mail order company for all orders containing alcohol.
